It allows you to enter the historical part of the town and is a place not to be missed.<\/li><li><strong>Ordu\u00f1a House. <\/strong>This building is accessed through the San Jos\u00e9 Tunnel and the Municipal Museum is located inside. It dates from the 17th century and houses the rooms and furniture of this house which was once the home of the nobles of the area. It is open every day and you have to pay to enter, although it is almost a symbolic price.<\/li><li><strong>Parish Church of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de la Asunci\u00f3n. Y<\/strong>ou will find it right next to Ordu\u00f1a House. It was built in the 18th century in the Baroque style. The church was practically destroyed in the Civil War and it was not until the 1960s that it was restored, although the design was not the same as the original construction.<\/li><li><strong>San Jos\u00e9 Castle. <\/strong>From Ordu\u00f1a House you will also have access to the San Jos\u00e9 Castle. It is an 11th century fortress. It is one of the symbols of the town and you cannot go to Guadalest and not visit this landmark.<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoteldonpancho.es\/en\/blog\/the-best-museums-of-guadalest\/\">Museums<\/a><\/strong>. In addition to the Ordu\u00f1a House, there are other museums in the municipality. For example, the Antonio Marco Museum has a collection of period toys and dolls&#8217; houses. You will also find the Medieval Historical Museum, which as you can imagine is dedicated to this decisive period for the town. We can also mention the Vall de Guadalest Museum of Historic Vehicles, the Bicycle Museum and the Ethnological Museum, among others.<\/li><li><strong>Alcozaiba Castle. <\/strong>The truth is that this castle has been destroyed by several earthquakes and today only a tower remains of what was an ancient Muslim fortress built in the 11th century.<\/li><li><strong>Old Town. <\/strong>The Old Town is well worth a visit. It is accessed through the San Jose Tunnel. As you can imagine, it is medieval in style and all its streets are cobbled. You will find different craft shops where you can buy a souvenir of your visit. Don&#8217;t forget to stop for lunch in one of the restaurants in the area, you&#8217;ll love the traditional cuisine.<\/li><li><strong>San Gregorio Square.<\/strong> This is the town square and you will also discover the town hall and some dungeons of medieval origin. You will also be surprised by the incredible views of the Guadalest reservoir.<\/li><li><strong>Guadalest reservoir.<\/strong> Once you have seen the Guadalest reservoir, you will surely want to visit it. It is an incredible area, which has a route that will allow you to get to know its surroundings better. Without a doubt, it is one of the places that you have to visit if you go to the town of Alicante.<\/li><li><strong>Guadalest Valley.<\/strong> Once again we invite you to discover another natural area.
