All the following routes start at the Don Pacho Hotel in Benidorm<\/strong> and offer a route through different parts of the province of Alicante, choose yours according to your capacity for endurance. Keep reading!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Coasting towards El Campello<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This route that starts in Benidorm and ends in El Campello<\/a>. It stands out for being a coastal route designed for MTB bicycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route passes through different parts of the Mediterranean coast such as Benidorm and Villajoyosa until it reaches a mountainous area between vegetation and reservoirs that leads us towards El Campello and, finally, it finishes by returning to the Hotel Don Pancho along the coast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route has a total distance of 69.32 kilometres<\/strong> and a positive slope of 987 metres<\/strong>. Ready?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Don Pancho \u2013 Tudons route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We continue with one of the routes that will take us on a mountainous stage with a visit to one of the most popular mountain passes in the area, as well as being a classic in the “Vuelta Ciclista a Espa\u00f1a”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route<\/a> goes into a mountainous area with arrival at the Morro de la Serrella<\/strong>, returning to the hotel in the direction of La Nuc\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route is designed for mountain bikes<\/strong>. Of high difficulty, it has a route of 84.57 kilometres<\/strong> and a cumulative positive difference in altitude of 1,834 metres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Benidorm \u2013 Bernia – Rates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Departing from the Hotel Don Pancho, the route will follow a path through the Sierra de Bernia mountain range, climbing a classic mountain pass of the Tour of Spain<\/strong>, the popular Coll de Rates<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route, which exceeds 100 kilometres<\/strong>, has a positive slope<\/strong> of 1,718 metres<\/strong> and is designed for MTB bicycles. Enjoy the route and its spectacular views!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Combination of sea and mountain on the Benidorm – Sierra Helada – Sierra de Olt\u00e1 route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A complete Cycling Friendly mountain bike route starting from the Hotel Don Pancho in Benidorm that will take us on a route that combines sea and mountain <\/strong>where we will quickly ascend the Serra Gelada<\/a> and continue towards Altea<\/strong>, skirting the coast at all times. The views are a real treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, we will head towards Calpe<\/strong>, ascending the Sierra d’Olta<\/strong> to turn around and start the return journey to the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High difficulty route of 57.19 kilometres<\/strong> with a positive slope<\/strong> of<\/strong> 1,099 metres<\/strong>. Let’s go for it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Ruta estrella, Sierra de Bernia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Sierra de Bernia is one of the most popular routes in the province of Alicante<\/strong>, whether you go hiking or cycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route<\/a> is designed for road cycling, heading towards one of the most popular areas for road cycling in this mountain range, as it has many routes that are ideal for road cycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This route has more than 1,000 metres of positive slope<\/strong> over a distance of almost 50 kilometres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Ascent to El Puerto de la Carrasqueta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This route is one of the most complicated so far. The starting point, as always, will be the Hotel Don Pancho where we will then head towards Finestrat, continue towards Relleu and finally ascend to the port of La Carrasqueta<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Cycling route around Puig Campana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And last but not least, something simpler. This is the mountain bike route to Puig Campana<\/strong>. An ascent designed for MTB bikes that will take us towards the town of Finestrat, to then tackle the ascent of Puig Campana<\/a>, enjoying the scenery at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The almost 38 kilometres<\/strong> of this route and its 1,157 metres of positive slope<\/strong> are enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
