Shopping in Benidorm can be an adventure that will eat up your time without you even realising it. In this post, we discover the best areas of Benidorm to enjoy a day’s shopping.
It is a city full of opportunities in this respect, as there is a wide variety of shops with great accessibility. In fact, opening hours are often longer than usual. Many shops and businesses do not close at midday.

Shopping in Benidorm, where to go?
Don’t want to spend the day wandering around without finding the best places to shop in the city? Here are our recommendations and favourite places – read on!
El Cisne flea market in Benidorm
It is the most characteristic and typical of the whole city. The flea market is located at kilometre 124 of the N-332, next to the antique shop of the same name, which is also open on the same days as the flea market. The most usual opening hours are Saturdays and Sunday mornings, although you can also find some Thursdays. Not only will you find the classic flea market stalls, but there is also an area full of coffee shops and bars.
It is a meeting point for tourists, so you can taste the typical gastronomy of the city and also the gastronomy of other countries. But you still don’t know the best part… Live music! That’s right, a flea market with live music.
A unique atmosphere is what makes this market so special. Our recommendation is to go to the market early in the morning, get your hands on some of the unique trinkets and enjoy a drink with the performance that day.
The village market
This is the classic street market with food, toys, clothes and other everyday products. You can find it on Avenida de L’Admirall Bernat de Sarrià, both on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.
Foietes street market
Another of the city’s best-known and longest-running street markets. It is located right next to the Municipal Sports Centre of the same name. You’ll also find everyday items, just like in the town’s flea market. You’ll be surprised by the atmosphere!
La Marina shopping centre
If you prefer or need the services offered by a large shopping centre, you can go to the largest shopping centre in the city. The La Marina shopping centre is in the Finestrat area and is easily accessible from the N-332 motorway exit, where you will find everything you need!
It is ideal for a day’s shopping, with a selection of the most popular clothing brands in Spain. You’ll also find the usual fast food chains or popular restaurants and supermarkets. If you choose this option, we recommend you end the day with a movie at the cinema.
Benidorm’s city centre
Perfect for all day long! The central area of the city is restricted to pedestrians only. We recommend you take a stroll along Calle Gambo, Calle La Alameda, Passeig de la Carrera and Plaza Mayor.
Shops of all kinds and with all kinds of brands. Clothes shops, accessories shops, souvenir shops… And more! What’s more, you’ll be surrounded by bars and coffee shops where you can relax and have a drink. You can also go to the classic shops on Avenida del Mediterráneo.
